Truloc Superfit 935 is as a revolutionary method to positively seal pipe joints, it cures (hardens) in contact with metal if there is an absence of air (when the joints are pulled together). That's why joint sealants are perfect for this application. The sealant fills the entire air space between the joints, forcing out the air. So the sealant can bond to the metal and cure, creating a perfect sealed assembly that will not leak. Also, the gap between the faces has been completely filled, thus sealing the assembly even if the faces are slightly uneven, this also helps prevent rust and corrosion. Sealants are available in a variety of formulations to fit the needs of your applications. Most sealed assemblies can be easily removed with standard hand tools, or by the additional application of heat. Application: Typically suited to pipe assemblies requiring resistance to chemical attack and corrosion resistance, also suitable for potable water installations and repairs.
