Truloc Superfit 777 is as a revolutionary method to positively seal flanged faces, it cures (hardens) in contact with metal if there is an absence of air (when the faces are pulled together). That's why flange sealants are perfect for this application. The sealant fills the entire air space between the flanges, forcing out the air. So the sealant can bond to the metal and cure, creating a perfect sealed assembly that will not leak. Also, the gap between the faces has been completely filled, thus sealing the assembly even if the faces are slightly uneven, this also helps prevent rust and corrosion.
Flange sealants are available in a variety of formulations to fit the needs of your applications. Most flange sealed assemblies can be easily removed with standard hand tools, or by the additional application of heat.
Application: Typically suited to flanged applications during assembly (gearbox faces, pipe joints, etc.)
Advantages over 733, 742 and 755 are this is a general purpose gasket sealer which will accomodate most of the functions of the other 3 thus being "general purpose". Equivalent to a well known brand number 577
